CVS 01/08/2010

I did several transactions today and used my card, as well as one registered in my man's name.

1st transaction:

2 Oust Air Sanitizers $3.99 each. Used BOGO free Q from insert ( $2/2 printable here).

1 SoyJoy Box $6

1 CVS Green Bag Tag $0.99. ( Get $1 ECB's every 4 uses)

I paid with $3 in ECB from previous trip and $8.65 OOP. I received $6 in ECB's for the Oust and another $6 for the SoyJoy Bars. Total profit $0.45

2nd transaction:

1 GE Smart Bulb $2.99. Used $1 Q from insert

2 Oust Air Sanitizers $3.99 each. Used BOGO free from insert

1 Box SoyJoy Bars $6

I paid with my ECB's from 1st transaction ($12) and $0.84 OOP. I received $2 in ECB's for the light bulb, $6 ECB's for the SoyJoy Bars and $6 ECB's for the Oust Spray. Total profit $1.26

3rd transaction:

1 Box SoyJoy Bars $6

2 Nivea Body Wash $5.99 each (my splurge! I love the smell of happiness). Used (2) $2/1 printable (no longer avail.)

I paid with my ECB's from 3rd transaction ($14) and 1.88 OOP. I received $6 in ECB's for SoyJoy bars and $5 in ECB's for Nivea purchase. Total cost $4.88

4th transaction:
3 Boxes of SoyJoy Bars $6 each

I paid with ECB's from 3rd transaction ($11) and $8.36 OOP. I received $18 in ECB's for SoyJoy. Total cost $1.36

5th, 6th, 7th & 8th transactions (my man's card): Exactly the same as above, except 1 set of Oust and I didn't have the $3 in ECB's. So it cost me $3 more OOP.

If you have the time you can do more transactions, breaking your OOP expensive to almost nothing. I needed to build my ECB's back up and didn't mind the expense, well that and I was hurrying.

I spent somewhere close to $30 OOP, I saved $93 with sales and coupons and ended up with $36 in ECB's (store credit).
