Who, What, Where

Well, here I am. I litterally dropped off the planet. I hibernated all summer. I did not visit CVS, Walgreens or Kmart once since the end of May. I only went to Kroger one time to get in on the Kraft cheese catalina this summer. I still have 20+ boxes of cereal, which I intend to rotate this weekend and give away some of the closer to expiring boxes and have so much canned food it is overflowing into floor space.

We depleted our freezer on a 6 day camping trip last month and I just went back to work. I am so exciting to go grocery shopping tomorrow I can barely contain my excitement. My first real Kroger trip in 3+ months. I have my coupons sorted, my card loaded and am ready to go!

I wonder if anyone even remembers I am here? LOL. I hope everyone and their families are doing well and I am excited to get back into the swing of things with my online family.

We had a pretty busy summer working on our property, camping at Carter Caves and Evan caught his first fish all by himself at Lake Vesuvius. We took another vacation and for the life of me I cannot remember where we went. Go figure.

My local Kmart is going under and that sucks balls but it comes as no big suprise. Right now they are offering 20% off and not honoring Super Doubles promotions. 20% off at Kmart is a joke, that's still 20% higher than Walmart and I am definitely NOT a Walmart advocate. So, I will have to revamp my Kmart plans because I refuse to shop the SkankMart at Rt.60 and would have to get up pretty early on Sundays to beat the old crones at New Boston. Just may not be worth it.

I saw they are building yet another Walgreens in Barboursville and the new Sheetz station opened a couple of weeks ago. I love coffee and they (Sheetz) have the best deal going. $0.69 for a large 20 oz. coffee. They offer several varities and don't forget to ask for a punch card because your 6th one is free. $4 for a 12" Sub isn't too shabby either!

I miss blogging, sort of, but not really. I definitely missed the interaction and hope to be on the map again soon. I cannot promise to be 3 or 4 times a day faithful again but I can promise to share all my deals as I stock up again.

Good Night and See you tomorrow!
